Press releases may be somewhat outdated in this Internet-driven world. Once your name is up on the web, it really doesn't ever come down. I still find reviews of my services from my Chicago clients even though I moved away more that eight years ago. Still, look into publicizing the opening of your salon or a new website, etc. in a press release. Put it on the Internet and there it shall stay.
